The Wild Things Project 
The Wild Things Program is a Service Learning Project that creates a connection between students in grades 4 - 9 and persons in their community who are less fortunate. The Wild Things are the catalyst that make this connection possible.
Vehicle For Change has partnered with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Alpha Group to bring this service learning project to your school.
This project supports your school objectives in the following areas:
- Enables your students to help others, give of themselves, and enter into caring relationships of others, which in turn enhances their self-esteem and self confidence.
- Creates an exciting opportunity for adults with disabilities to contribute their skills and be active in their community.
- Allows you to raise funds for your school or donate the proceeds to the help kids with cancer go to camp.
Each Wild Thing Creature will be donated to the Children’s Hospital. Each kit also comes with a bio-card that your child complete about themselves and their creature so the receiving child will know that someone is thinking about them and wishing them well.
The Alpha Group
The Alpha Group of Delaware, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting and improving supports and services for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Wild Things project creates an exciting opportunity for adults with disabilities to contribute their skills and be active in their community. This project is especially exciting for them because they love to give to others. Each kit will include a bio-card from the adult sewing the creature, so your child will know where their Wild Thing Creature came from. Visit Alpha Group website.
